Membership with the Western Amateur Radio Association (WARA) offers some great things, including a voice in the club, an opportunity to serve on the board, and each member can have their own club e-mail. However, the best thing you get with membership is a truly incredible group of people to connect with and work together to improve personal knowledge in the Amateur Radio hobby. You must hold a current valid FCC Amateur Radio Operators license (any class) to join the Western Amateur Radio Association. Also, we are an ARRL Affiliated club, however ARRL membership is NOT required to join WARA.
A one-year membership to WARA is just $25, or you can pay a pro-rated amount ($2.10 per month) if you join in the middle of the year. To join simply click on the Membership Application tab from the main menu and fill out the online form and click submit.
