Once a month, on the first Monday of every month (except major holidays), the Western Amateur Radio Association holds its general meeting at the Sizzler Restaurant on Harbor by Brea Blvd., north of the Courthouse on the west side of the road. The meetings start at 19:00 (7:00pm) in the meeting room, but you should show up about an hour early if you would also like to get some food. Meetings generally consist of a speaker who talks about a topic related to Ham radio, followed by various announcements and other club business. There is usually a raffle or 50/50 drawing. Visitors are welcome and encouraged to come. We would love to meet you and introduce you to the club.
